Yes. Our guitars come in a variety of price points to accomadate you wherever you're at on your journey to a unique, heirloom instrument. Starting as low as $3,500.

The side sound port provides a unique player experience in three ways:

First, it allows more volume to come directly to the player's ears. This is a huge plus if you're in a group setting, but also makes playing by yourself much more enjoyable, as the tonal quality is vastly increased.

Second, having two holes in a guitar opens up the bass tones, creating a more open vibration and reducing a muddy bass. It balances out the eq across the entire instrument range, which allows even smaller body guitars to have a powerful voice.

Third, it allows you to see the entire inside of your instrument. This not only makes retrieving picks a breeze (thank goodness!) but showcases the quality construction inside each and every Murphy Guitar.

Yes. We ship guitars anywhere in the United States

A typical guitar takes about 35-40 hours of work. This is spread out over several weeks to accomodate the various stages of construction, as well as finish dry and cure times.

I currently offer a very limited number of builds per year. This ensures that I am able to focus the proper quality and attention to detail at each and every stage of the process. If you are interested in reserving a spot please reach out to inquire about nearest availability.
